Our primary purpose is to carry the message to the marijuana addict who still suffers. We do this by practicing the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of Marijuana Anonymous.
For room safety, Moderators may warn, silence, boot, or ban a person for offensive usernames or behavior in the rooms. A permanent ban requires a vote of the Chat Abuse Committee.
The following behavior is likely to lead to action from a Moderator:
Attacks or abusive language based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or politics
Threats of harm
Sexually overt language
Promoting a religion
Promoting, campaigning, or flaming about politics
Selling, procuring or promoting marijuana or other drugs
Posting non-Marijuana Anonymous links in MA chatrooms
The following types of usernames will lead to an action from a Moderator:
Names that would commonly be considered vulgar, obscene, or sexual, or mentions another member
Names that refer to private body parts
Names that directly or indirectly are considered as pro-drug centric
Names that have political references
Names that advocate or promote religions
Protect your own safety by not giving out personal information until you are sure of who you are communicating with. Use the Report Abuse link to report abuse to the Chat Abuse Committee. Copy and paste the abusive text entries into your chat abuse report email, and include member(s), time and date, and room you were in.
The individual opinions expressed on this site, are the personal opinions of the members and cannot be understood to necessarily reflect the opinions of Marijuana Anonymous District 13, or Marijuana Anonymous World Services.
Thank you for your cooperation. Each one of us plays an important role in helping Marijuana Anonymous Online to be a safe space. We can best carry the message to the addict who still suffers by agreeing to these terms.
